All dogs are groomed to breed standard or owner specific requirements using professional grooming techniques and a free consultation service will take place prior to your dogs first groom to establish your preferance and any other aspects of your dogs groom.
Bath and De-Shedding
Suitable for short and double coated breeds e.g. Labradors, Retrievers, Huskys, Collies, etc. Ideal for heavily shedding coats that don’t require trimming or clipping. The bath and de-shedding treatment will remove all loose undercoat and stimulate the natural oils to bring shine back to your dogs coat. The groom includes:
- Warm shower with shampoo suitable for dogs coat / skin type
- Blow dry and brush out / de-shed treatment to remove all dead undercoat and reduce casting in your home
- Feet trim and tidy
- Nails trimmed and ears cleaned (if required)
- Hygiene clip (belly and bum) only if requested

Hand Stripping
Hand Stripping of the coat is a grooming option for certain dog breeds to help maintain the dogs wire/coarse coat, such as Border Terriers, West Highland White Terriers, Wire Haired Dachshunds etc.

- Nail trimming

Full Groom
- Warm shower with shampoo to suit your dogs coat / skin type
- Blow dry and brush out, removing any knots and tangles
- Clipping / styling to suit breed or owner requirements
- Face and feet tidy trim
- Hygiene clip (belly and bum)
- Nails trimmed and ears cleaned (if required)
Spruce Up Groom
A bath, brush and tidy between regular full groom appointments is the perfect way of maintaining a coat which is prone to knots and tangles.
- Warm shower with shampoo to suit your dogs coat / skin type
- Blow dry and brush out to remove any knots and tangles
- Face and feet tidy trim
- Hygiene clip (belly and bum)
- Nails trimmed and ears cleaned (if required)
Puppy Pamper
I'm a firm believer that the sooner you introduce something to a dog, and make it a regular occurence, the more likelihood is that the activity becomes routine and not frightening. Introduce your puppy to the Groom Vroom for a bath, brush and blow dry, and to get used to their feet being touched, as this can undoubtedly be part of the body that dogs like least being touched.

The Groom Room
​
Brackens Groom Room comes fully fitted with a self heating HydroBath, a hydraulic grooming table with adjustable 'H' frame and a wall mounted Airmax dryer. It also comes with a dog guard to ensure me and your doggy benefit from ventilation during the warmer days at the same time as keeping your dog safe. And in the winter months the internal heater and 80mm insulated walls will keep us both snug when needed. All of these fittings will ensure a pleasant, enjoyable and pampered experience for your dog.

I work one-on-one, with no other dogs as a distraction so the environment will be calm and friendly, doing the upmost to ensure your dog has an enjoyable, relaxed experience. Each groom will be tailored to you and your dogs requirements, offering a totally caring, personalised experience.

Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
